FAMILY TRADITIONS!!!

This year, we decided to cut a fresh Christmas Tree for our newly finished basement! Matt called Idaho's fish and game, or something, and for only 5$$ you can cut down a tree.... well, we loaded up the boys, and headed to the BLACKPINE MOUNTAINS!!! We searched high and low, in the sage-brush, and finally found a decent tree!!! Cort was the one who spotted it!!
This is the decorated version.... not the best shot!!! It does look cute though!!!

Cooper and Camen getting warmed up in the truck!! We had a fun afternoon, pulling the boys in the sled, and searching for the perfect tree!!

Here's a cute shot of all the boys!!! what a sight!! It was pretty crazy, Cash kept falling down, and Cade's boot's kept falling off, loosing one of his socks in the snow.... oh, great family traditions!!! These are the things we remember!!!

Sweet little Cash, before he was sad and Cold!!! We had a fun day with the boys, and look forward to future years with our family!!!!

What a great tradition to start! And only $5 for a REAL tree? Why didn't I know of this years ago?

The Green's

That sounds like so much fun. I didn't know it was so easy to cut down your own tree. Did you think of the Griswald's at any point in the process? I'll see you next week!

The Simonson Family

Cheridan, how fun! That is a great family tradition. Can't wait to see you at the girls party in Jan!

That's SO fun Cheridan! My family and I used to go up to Mountain Green and cut down our own real tree, it wasn't $5 though! Plus, my dad isn't the handiest of men like Matt is and let's just say it wasn't always the most pleasant experience! ha ha Thanks for your love and support, it is SO nice being finished with school! I'm excited to see you and your darling boys!

Sounds like a fun family adventure! Yes, it sounds much like the Griswalds, did anyone's eyes freeze open? I know it's a crazy time of year and a bit cold, but try to come walking with us at night!!!
