Can't forget CORT'S 13!!!!!

Cort turned the BIG 13 on June 17th!!!! yep, you heard right...it's official, there is a teenager in our midst!!! The boys and I planned a SURPRISE party for him that day with all his friends!! He was very surprised and made out like a bandit reciving like 70$$$ ....who the heck gives 10$$ or more as a b-day gift, I must be a tight wad!! We then had family over later for cake and icecream and more fun! We love you Cortie....teenager or not, you will ALWAYS be my baby!!!

July....2010...so far....

This July has started out with a REAL BANG!!! The last night in June the boys were helping Matt throw the hay bales on to the hay elevator....when poor Cooper got his middle finger caught in it somehow, nearly cutting it off. I didn't see it until we got to the ER, and when it was revealed, it was a sight to see.... there it was dangling....not something any mom wants to see her poor child going through. Cooper was one tough guy, 4 big numbing shots, and 10 to 14 stitches( the Dr. lost track) Sewed it back together, good as new, well we have a long road ahead of us to see the FULL recovery, but we are hope full! He's done great with the pain, and it seems to be healing nicely. We then decided to for go the 4th of July activities at the Park, and take a drive to Logan to see OLD EPHREM'S (grizzly bear, the boys love to hear about) GRAVE. We've talked about seeing this for a while, the boys were very excited. Well, it was a long road trip, stopping 5 times along the way for Cash or Cade to go to the bathroom, but we finally made it! The monument stands 9ft. 11 in. the exact measurement of the size of the bear....YIKES...glad I didn't meet this guy anywhere in the mountains! Boys had fun..... I tried to dismiss the hellish chaos that comes with 5 boys, and enjoy the time as a family!!!

JUNE.... Where did you GO?????

JUNE was filled with crazy days and nights! Late nights, no napping days, makes for complete CRAZINESS!!!! but, that's what summer is about RIGHT?? We bought season passes to Cherry Hill this summer, trying to fit that in is a job in itself! Baseball came to an end in the middle of the month. Cort's team took 3rd place over all, and Cooper and Camen's team were 2nd over all. Good baseball season. Cort also received a chance to play in the All Star game! He was happy for that spot, great game, lot's of fun! I also was crazy enough to run in the RAGNAR relay again this year! Team EXCESS BAGGAGE....did a great job, finishing in 33 hours!!! Besides getting EXTREME diarrhea and nausea.....I just know you all appreciate hearing that! It was great...... not so much the running part, just the crazy girl fun part! Love the group of girls I was with, and I may be loosing another toenail, oh well...... June came and went in a hurry....but there is still plenty more to come!

Playing Catch Up!!

May was filled with lots of fun.... baseball season started, I'll post some pictures later! Making week nights full of busy comings and goings.... Cooper was in his Class play, having one of the leading roles. It was a musical his class wrote, and performed doing a great job. Cooper was the town Mayor, having a few solo parts! He did a great job, and even better, I was just proud of him for daring to do it! We also had a surprise get away to BEARLAKE with ALL the family for Dad's retirement! Mom convinced Dad to take a ride to Bearlake, where they found us all waiting!! It was great...... lot's of fun when we all get together....lot's of BOYS....but we had some great times...thanks to Katie for hooking us up with HER families cabin, perfect place for our family fun! The boys finished a great school year, happy to say good bye to homework and things, they are looking forward to a fun summer, me on the other hand is kinda with mixed emotions..... hellish summer chaos, is NOT always fun!!!
