CALIFORNIA... here we come!!

We went to Newport Beach with my family... Mom and Dad, and all my brothers, sister-in -laws, and nephews!! We had a great time, swimming at the resort pool, going to the beach, a spending a day @ Disneyland!! We all had a great time with each other, and all the 8 little boys had such a fun time with each other!! What a wild crazy bunch!!

DISNEYLAND

The day we went to Disneyland, Matt stayed back with the two babies and some of the others, at the resort, so the boys and I, Grandma, Aimee, and Preston and Carli went like crazy!! it was great! In California Adventure, there were huge turkey legs that the boys had to have!! They pretty much fed all of us!
Catching the BUG SHOW in bug land!! Such a fun 3-D show with great special effects!
Catch of the day!! We were able to hit most of the big rides, now that the boys were all big enough, we loved it!
Good old Indiana Jones! we had a fast pass @ 9:30 that night, all day long there was a 2-3 hour wait, so when we finally got on it...it was great!The boys loved it!
Me and Mom @ the happiest place on earth!! We loved watching all the little princesses passing us by... trying to talk the boys into a crown or dress or SOMETHING! What a fun, long day!! I have a hard time leaving a place like that... you never know when you'll be back... Lot's of fun memories with everyone! So we all survived the trip to California, back to the real world, of football, school starting, crying babies, hunting season, cleaning, cooking, and all the other fun stuff we all do everyday!

Newport Beach

Here we are at the BEACH!! This was the boys first time to the ocean and Matt's, so it was an exciting day for all of them!! They played all day long!
The boys had a great time finding crabs, and little sand crabs, they were sad when they had to let them go.... they wanted to bring them home!
Little Cade even loved the sand and seaweed... there were many times sand had to be removed from his mouth!!mmm good!
Uncle Preston buried Cooper alive!! He thought that was pretty fun!

Aimee and Grandma were lots of help with the boys!! They loved playing with the boys in the water and the sand!

On July 29th, Cash was outside with the other boys, and all's I heard was screaming.... of course "Nobody" knows what really happened, well long story short, I ended up at WeeCare, where they X-rayed Cash's leg and found water on his knee, so they put his leg in a splint! He wore it for a few days and he was as good as new... then one week later....
On August 8th, Cash was again outside with the other boys, when again I heard screaming, this time I was in the basement, cleaning, of course....I ran up the stairs to find Cash covered in blood, and out of control. When I finally could really look @ him...his lip was sliced all the way through, and his chin sliced open. Oh, let me tell you that both of these situations Matt has been out of town with work! so I'm by myself, with 4 other kids, and 1 in need of stitches! Luckily I have my sweet mother, who bailed me out both times! So I took Cash to a Urgent Care, where they tell me, "oh yes, he does need stitches, but I think the ER could do a better job" So I take him to Ogden Regionals ER, where after a long wait they have to end up giving him a shot anyways(which was the Urgent Cares reason for not helping me, they said the ER would'nt have to give a shot for numbing)...So they strap him down in the papoose thing, which he did infact break out of, and finally got three stitches in his lip, then they glued his chin.... which I at the time assumed would break back open! So after a crazy afternoon, finally get back home. Well, life goes on and football was that night @5:00, so I loaded up all the boys, we got there on time, all is good, when about an hour into it... Cash has split his lip back open, because the dumb doctor put in disolveable stitches! Yes this is my life! So my parents bail me out once again, by coming to the park to finish with football, and I take Cash BACK to the ER!! So the 2nd time around, no disoveable stitches were used, and 3 more stitches were put in!! and the chin that was glued shut, is still shut!!The nurse said to me as I left..."Let's hope we don't see you again tonight" And I said"if you see me again, you'll be admitting ME somewhere!!" The day and the life of having sweet, sweet boys!!

Camping in China Meadows!!

We finally took the trailer out after about 2 years... pretty pregnant last summer, so it never happened, and oh, pregnant the year before that too, or haven't I been pregnant for the last ten years of my life!!! anyhoo, here's little Cade as sweet as ever, lovin every minute if it!! Little do all the boys know of how much work it really is just to go for the weekend, it was much more fun when I wasn't the mom!! Matt loves to cook our food when we camp, which is FINE by me! Cookin up some bacon, eggs, and pancakes!! It always tastes better when I don't have to cook it!
Cooper had an idea to build a rock fort.... It ended up being pretty darn good! Even dad got in on it!
Here's the crew... our first camping trip with all 5 boys!! This will have to be blown up for the basement!!
This is our favorite spot in the Uintahs, "China Meadows" this is a little lake right next to our camp spot! A perfect spot for our Crazy Boys! They love to fish and play all day in the water!
